A unique bridal dress
Jenny Aarrekangas designs the wedding dress for your dream wedding. This service is for you, if you want a unique wedding dress that is adapted to your style, figure and personality.
I love creating beautiful lace dresses, skirts with a lovely flow, and elegant satin gowns. But if you want to make the wedding dress more personal, we can use colour, two-piece dresses or trousers.
Before our first meeting, it’s good to think about what styles and cuts you like or don’t like. Save pictures for inspiration, on bridal styles and details you like.
After our first meeting, I make 3 sketches, which you can choose from. After the design is chosen, I sew up a sample dress and order fabrics. During the process, we do 3-5 fittings, so that we know that all cuts and details fit correctly. The delivery time for a custom-made wedding dress is 4–9 months, so please get in touch well in advance.
You can always send me concept images in advance, so I can make a price estimate even before our first meeting.

Wedding Dress Designer of the Year 2023

Jenny Aarrekanga’s bridal collection ‘Faith, Hope Love’ was chosen as the audience’s favourite. The theme for the competition was “Dream Dress”.
The competition ‘Vuoden hääpukusuunnittelija 2023’ is organized annually by the wedding fair Love Me Do, Häät-lehti, Häät.fi, the wedding site amoriini.com and European Bridal Week.
The bridal collection was inspired by the floral trend as well as dresses that are built up from parts. All dresses consist of 2-3 parts that can be used again after the wedding.
In the final show, Sandra Neuman at Floristgaraget participated with flowers and goldsmith Laura Nissi with her rings.
The team behind the competition photography was photographer Josefin Westin, florist Sandra Neuman, Annas Beautybox, hairdresser Elin Ahlvik and Kenkä Ekstra. Models were Maija Tuomela, Julia Käldström Sund and Tiina Kattilakoski.

“I am very satisfied with Jenny’s services. She has done a thorough job and done everything to fulfill my wishes. My criteria was to make a wedding dress, that I can possibly use in the future also for another party. The solution for this became a two-part construction (doesn’t look like it’s a two piece). This allows me to wear the top with a pair of wide pants for another party or the skirt with a crop top on another occasion. Wearing clothes just for one occasion goes against my principles, plus I like to wear something that has that little something extra. Jenny and her services were a great option.”
